Gutenberg’s Cradle

Gutenberg’s Cradle is a beautifully illustrated book about the 75 texts in Marsh’s Library that were published across Europe in the half-century after the invention of printing with moveable type during the 1450s.

This volume accompanies our current exhibition about the earliest books in our collection. Its high production values will ensure that it is a collector’s item in years to come.
