Featuring a wide range of art and antiques from different periods and regions, the fair is known for its high quality and authenticity, and is attended by collectors, curators, and art enthusiasts from around the world. In addition to art dealers, some ILAB-affiliated booksellers and galleries also exhibit at TEFAF. These exhibitors offer a diverse range of rare books, manuscripts, and other printed materials.

ILAB bookseller Sandra Hindman of Les Enluminures with gallery spaces in Chicago, New York and Paris is a leading expert on Medieval and Renaissance manuscript illumination. Professor Emerita of Art History at Northwestern University and Owner of Les Enluminures, Sandra Hindman is also author, coauthor, and editor of more than twelve books, as well as numerous articles on the history and reception of illuminated manuscripts and on medieval rings.

For TEFAF 2023, Professor Hindman and her team have curated a wonderful exhibition and accompanying video series: “Women and the Book”, focussing on 3 topics: Women as Patrons, Women as Artists and Women's Lives. The exhibition aims to augment our understanding of women's lives in the Middle Ages.
