The VDA "Schaufenster": German antiquarian booksellers launch online platform!

October sees the launch of a new online platform to browse, search and buy antiquarian books, autographs, maps, prints and works on paper. The classic website of the German antiquarian booksellers' association, Verband Deutscher Antiquare, will be expanded to include an interactive sales platform.

From now on, antiquarian bookshops and galleries will offer antiquarian items online throughout the year, grouped by dealer, subject and regularly updated with new items.

Browse, Search and Buy directly from the Booksellers

The "Schaufenster" offers customers a view of the entire range of the German antiquarian book trade. Buyers can browse and search by author, subject or run a full-text search.

And just as one enters a shop and enquires about the objects on display, questions can be asked in the "Schaufenster" and books, prints or autographs then purchased directly from the booksellers.

More than 50 antiquarian bookshops are already registered with the launch of the new platform and will be happy to answer questions and provide further information. Sold items will be replaced by new ones from our sellers. So keep checking back for "New Entries"!
