In 2008, a very important step for the future of the Prize was taken with the help of ILAB President of Honor Robert D. Fleck. The name of the Prize was changed into ILAB Breslauer Prize for Bibliography to honour a very generous gift of $108,000 granted by the Breslauer Foundation
