This auction features rare, antique and decorative books as well as select additions of art, ephemera and collectibles.  Highlighted is a large and impressive scholarly library of works on medieval history and other highlighted offerings relate to Western American history, Judaica and various other genres.  Several choice art pieces will be offered, led by an original oilstick drawing signed “Basquiat.”

Antique and rare books feature numerous titles.  Among the earliest examples are the 1637 Hebrew Book of Psalms, “Sefer Tehilim Psalterium,” published by Joannes Maire; Catherine Of Bologna’s “Le Armi Necessarie alla Battaglia Spirituale /Specchio d'Illuminazione,” published in 1786; and the 1648 printing of “Corpus Iuris Canonici.”   Early Western Americana titles include Bunnell’s “Discovery of the Yosemite and the Indian War of 1851,” Elizabeth Custer’s "Boots and Saddles or Life in Dakota with General Custer,” printed in 1885, and Kenderdine’s “California Revisted 1858-1897.”  Scarce titles relating to Jewish history will be offered including Ze'ev Raban’s 1930 deluxe volume of  “The Song of Solomon”.
