For our first catalog of African-Americana in over a year, we've selected some of the most interesting material we have ever had to offer. Highlights include one of only three known surviving autographs of Cinque (leader of the Amistad Rebellion), an unpublished early 19th Century African-American prison memoir, the only first edition of Juan Latino we have ever seen on the market, Phillis Wheatley's poems (the first book published by an African-American), as well as signed material from Martin Luther King, Jr., W.E.B. Du Bois, Booker T. Washington, Matthew Henson, and much more. The catalog includes 140 items, all illustrated in full color.
